What do we accept?
Solicited short stories, flash fiction and poetry
What don't we accept?
We're a small and nascent company. As we grow, we'll be opening for more types of submissions, including short story anthologies and novels. Check back frequently.
And the walls Came crashing down
And the Walls Came Crashing Down is a themed, conceptual anthology. We've provided a setting and characters.
We're looking for works of short fiction featuring those characters that are set in a particular room of the house featured in the anthology.
We're looking for serialized works of fiction to be published on Amazon's Vella service.
Installments of up to 6,000 words will be published monthly. Payment per installment will be $25, paid at time of publication.
We're looking for stories that might fall within the genres of horror, weird fiction, or genre fiction. We will accept works of genre fiction, but we particularly like stories that subvert established genre and tropes.
If interested, contact email@example.com. Include an outline of the story, the number of installments you're expecting to write, and a writing sample.
The Periodical, Forlorn
Published bi-monthly, The Periodical, Forlorn is our literary magazine.
Themed calls for submission are open routinely. See The Periodical, Forlorn website for more information on how to submit:
And the dead shall
sleep no more
We're suckers for vampires.
Now accepting submissions for a short fiction anthology themed around our favorite horror monsters.
Due to the number of submissions we've received, we are currently not accepting serial fiction pitches. However, we will be open to pitches again in the future.
